Sealed glass-front gas appliance that drops into an existing masonry firebox for high-efficiency, room-rated heat, the way to turn a drafty open fireplace into a real heater. Sealed combustion means it stops pulling your heated room air up the chimney, and direct-vent means it draws and exhausts through a coaxial pipe we run and seal. Install-only, because the gas line, the vent run, and the block-off are all safety-critical, so this is a job and not a delivery. While we are at your home for it, the crew can also handle the sweep, the ducts, and the dryer vent.

Direct-Vent Termination Cap / Horizontal Vent Kit (Coaxial)

The coaxial vent pipe and exterior termination cap that carry a direct-vent gas insert's intake and exhaust safely through the wall, the part of a sealed-combustion install that has to be run and sealed exactly right. Direct-vent only works because the pipe is airtight and the termination clears windows, soffits, and grade to code, and a sloppy vent run is how a sealed appliance starts spilling.
