(2) Parts channel: replacement parts (igniters, blowers, glass, gaskets) are only guaranteed available through the authorized chain — generic parts are often out of spec. (3) Service bulletins: manufacturer updates and recalls only reach authorized dealers, so you’re more likely to be informed of a needed safety update.
How do you recommend a brand for my home?
We assess four things on the in-home visit: room size + heat-load (a 600 sq ft great room and a 200 sq ft bonus room don’t take the same unit), venting reality (existing masonry, attic clearance, side-wall direct-vent option), fuel availability + cost (DFW natural-gas vs. propane vs. electric), and aesthetic priority (linear modern vs. traditional masonry surround). European designer brands (Spartherm, Element4, Jetmaster) typically run 6–10 weeks. Custom DaVinci builds run 8–14 weeks. We hold your install slot when the manufacturer confirms ship date.
How does financing work across brands?
We offer 12 / 24 / 36-month financing through our finance partner; approval is independent of brand. Some manufacturers also run periodic 0% promo financing — we’ll surface current promos during the quote.
Do warranty terms differ by brand?
Yes — significantly. Domestic brands typically offer limited-lifetime firebox warranties with 5–10-year coverage on burners, blowers, and electronics. European designer brands often offer limited-lifetime on the body but shorter coverage on electronics. Electric fireplaces typically run 1-year overall + 5-year LED warranty.
