Smoke Chamber Cleaning

The smoke chamber is the funnel-shaped transition above the firebox and damper that gathers smoke and channels it up into the flue. It's also one of the most overlooked fire-risk zones in the whole chimney, because its corbeled — stepped — masonry surfaces are perfect creosote traps, and a routine sweep aimed at the flue often passes right over them. Cleaning this area takes the right tools and approach, not just a longer brush.
