- Performed a Level 2 inspection">Level 2 inspection of the existing chimney
- Sized and recommended a direct-vent gas insert appropriate to the firebox
- Installed a stainless flue liner and the insert per manufacturer spec
- Ran the gas line and pressure-tested the connection
- Programmed the remote and walked the homeowners through operation
The Result
The fireplace now lights with a remote, heats the living area within minutes, and vents cleanly. The homeowners use it daily through the cooler months.
